STEP 1: Choose your desired dates on the calendar and indicate how many guests are in your party. Please let us know in the booking notes if you plan to bring pets. (The subtotal shown when you select your dates will not include the pet fee but does include taxes and cleaning fees. We will send you a detailed invoice which breaks down all applicable taxes and fees.)
STEP 2: We will email you shortly with an invoice with payment link and guest agreement. Please complete these items to reserve your dates.
STEP 3: We are committed to protecting our guests and properties which is why we've partnered with a third-party vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that within one week of your stay, you will need to verify your details and will be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver through the platform. Welcome to walkable, beautiful, historic Highland Park! Relax in the neighborhood at our numerous parks and playgrounds, grab a beverage at a nearby cafe, visit animals at the zoo, or do some antique shopping at local favorites. Looking for more action? Holly House is just 5 minutes (2 miles) from the center of downtown and countless bars, restaurants, and shopping destinations. Looking for adventure? You'll find a myriad of hikes, climbing, water sports, and historic sites within a short drive!
Climb a handful of stairs to reach the distinctive front porch where you can enjoy a beverage and enjoy watching the quiet activity of the neighborhood. The entry foyer is the welcome center of Holly House (that wallpaper!). Once you enter the front door through our smart keypad, kick off your shoes, hang your coat, and find all the important details at the front desk. To your right, you'll find the cozy Living Room. Lounge on the couch to watch movies or your favorite TV shows on the large wall-mount tv. Further towards the back of the house, you'll find the kitchen and dining room. Prepare delicious meals with the brand new, stainless steel appliances or enjoy takeout at the spacious dining table (with extra leaves available in case you need to feed a crowd). At the back of the main level is a laundry room for your use and access to the backyard. There is a full bathroom with shower on the first level conveniently located to all the public spaces. But our favorite room on the first level has got to be the bunkroom! A set of twin bunk beds can sleep 2 kids (or kids at heart) with a storage bench and hooks to keep you organized in this small but mighty space. Cozy up on the bean bag chair with a good book or take advantage of our growing collection of toys, puzzles, and games.
Upstairs you will find the luxurious Master Bedroom at the front of the house. Spread out on the spacious King size bed and stash your luggage in the large closet. Perfect for couples or small families--the room's twin daybed trundle is perfect for keeping a couple little ones nearby. The Guest bedroom at the back of the second level boasts a memory foam Queen size mattress, bench, hooks, and closet. Get some work done at the vintage roll top desk in this room. A bright and cheery full bathroom with tub/shower serves the second floor bedrooms. You will also find the linen closet in the second floor hall with loads of extra towels, linens, and pillows to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
You will have full access to the house and backyard minus a small storage closet under the stairs. You will receive a door code for the keypad with your check-in instructions.
Holly House is 5 minutes from downtown and nearby I-24 and I-75. On street parking is easy to come by and there is one, small parking spot at the back of the house accessed via the alley.
KID-FRIENDLY
We know traveling with kids can be...a lot. We offer several kid amenities, so you can leave a few things at home. We currently offer a pack n play with sheets, booster seat/highchair, baby gates, and cool mist humidifier.
PET-FRIENDLY
We love pets and know traveling with them can be hard but leaving them at home is harder. Holly House is perfect for cats and dogs and we leave some special treats for your furry friends!

While we hope you don’t have to cancel your stay, we understand that life happens. Receive a full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

50% of the reservation cost is due at time of booking. The remaining balance will be due 10 days before check-in. If booked within 14 days of your stay, the full amount will be due at time of booking.
